She graduated from musicians institute in Los Angeles in 2007.She is deeply thankfull for the teachers,experiences and people in her life that inspire her in so many ways.Her intensly artistic family has inspired her to follow a vision that each artist creates for themselves in a space that is honest and uninhibited.Her passions include movies,fashion,sociology and psychology.Her aim is to tie in these various elements in an expression that truly expresses her opinion.Her life is spent exploring the verious possibilities life has exposed her to from acting to writing and most of all making music.She welcomes you into her into her world,but just fasten your seatbelts. The press meet of Unnai Pol Oruvan was held in Chennai last week. Actors Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and the films crew were present to talk about the upcoming PROJECT At the function, Kamal said he wanted to do a different kind of film and A Wednesday really inspired him. When asked if he was willing to make a film on the sufferings undergone by Sri Lankan Tamils, the actor replied that it was a very sensitive issue and declined to comment on it. At this juncture, he stopped and went on to introduce the music director, none other than his daughter Shruthi Haasan. Shruthi has been getting more and more active in the industry up new projects, and was recently the guest of honour at the audio launch function of Kavithai Gundar. by taking

Shruthi Haasan has several projects on her mind and is determined to prove herself! Like her father, she has chosen to be multi-faceted rather than concentrate on one task and limit her options. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi Haasan seems to have a passion similar to her father in terms of her attempts related to music.

Legendary actor Kamal Hassan has been constructing a hi-tech recording studio for his elder daughter Sruthi Hassan in Chennai. Trained in Carnatic as well as western music, Shruthi has stepped into making albums. She will kick start her musical career with the release of her first musical album. She has also made a singing debut in her father’s movie Dashaavtaram. She intends to use her knowledge of Carnatic and western music to become a composer.

Shruthi Haasan has got a lot offers to act but she has made up her mind to pursue a career in music. She aspires to become a music director and has put off opportunities for acting. As a matter of fact, she has already come up with tunes for 10 songs that will be featured on her first Tamil album. A recording studio is coming up in Chennai that would serve as a platform to explore her interest in music. The studio is yet to open officially. Kamal plans to give his daughter’s career a big launch.
